tongue”A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Simon: Silly faces at Mumma.

This week, Simon actually asked me to photograph him making faces at me, instead of my usual stealth photo-taking. I thought it was neat for him to have a say in his own portrait. He has been very expressive lately, and you can always tell how he is feeling, because it is written all over his face.

(It is interesting to compare this week’s portrait, with week #2, both pictures with his tongue out.)
