Today I am so excited to share a giveaway of an awesome product with you. As I have mentioned before, I often rely on veggie and fruit puree pouches, which are all the rage these days, to sneak some extra nutrition into my little guy when life gets crazy or we are on the go. However, being an environmentally conscious mom as well, I have always had guilt about the environmental impact of these non-recyclable plastic pouches. I found a way to reuse the caps, but the pouches themselves still ended up bound for a landfill.
Recently, I was having a discussion with my husband about how someone should invent a reusable pouch system that is affordable, eco-friendly, and easy to use again and again. Well, I was delighted when only a couple of days later, I stumbled onto exactly that. The “Little Green Pouch” was invented and designed by Moms to help other parents feed their kids portable, quick nutrition. You can make your own purees from scratch, or fill them with store-bought applesauce. You can wash it and use it over and over again, and not add piles of plastic pouches to the environment. The pouch is BPA and Pthalate free, cleans in the dishwasher if you have one, and can even be tossed in the freezer to thaw later.
I was so thrilled when I found this product, that I wrote to the creators and asked if they would be willing to share it with you, my readers. They generously agreed, and I am excited to present the opportunity to win this prize to you now.
The prize is:
- Made of durable, BPA-free and phthalate-free plastic
- Holds up to 6 ounces, with fill lines noted on back
- Works with the Boon’s dispensing spoons for those babies & mamas who prefer using spoons
- Secure press zipper opening makes filling and closing a cinch
- Cleans easily upside down in the top rack of the dishwasher
- Freezer safe, so great for bulk storage
- Did we already say cute?
