This Year’s Pumpkin Painting

By the end it was mostly a purpley-grey, but he was proud, and he had so much fun. This year we used washable tempera paint instead of finger paint, and a white pumpkin instead of orange. Simon’s finished pumpkin currently sits as a centerpiece on our kitchen table. I look forward to seeing how this tradition continues to evolve over the years.
