Children’s Museum

We brought Simon to the Children’s Museum of Maine this weekend. We had fun exploring and playing together as a family. It was very crowded, but we took our time and exercised our patience to approach each exhibit, and managed to have a good time. Simon’s favorite part by far was the Cascade Stream, where he could scoop things out of the water with a net. I think we spent at least a third of our time there before we finally pulled him away.

Adventures like this are terrific in the winter time. (Even warm and muddy winters like we are having here in Maine.) We will definitely be returning in the future, and it will be neat to see Simon explore even more of the exhibits (Like the rock climbing wall!) as he gets older.

  1. My kids LOVE the children’s museum! My oldest is upset because she’s too big for many of the hands-on things, but she still likes going. Such fun! Love these pictures of your sweetie! Too cute!
