Watercolor Thank You Cards

Tonight I finished up some handmade thank you cards for the amazing friends who came to my birthday party.

First I played around with watercolor to make interesting textures and bright colors.

Then I folded the rectangles into cards, and used opaque black paint to add the words “Thank You” on the front of each.

Once dry, I wrote out my messages inside.

Then for envelopes I folded them up into a piece of origami paper, adding a sticker as a seal. The stickers I used are from Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy stationary.

They are now all addressed and ready to be mailed or hand-delivered.

I hope the recipients like them!
