A Musical Windfall

On my way home from work this afternoon I stopped at my local record store and purchased myself some music. I had a little bit of spending money left on a gift card from Christmas, and a song stuck in my head. I knew the radio was unlikely to play exactly what I wanted to hear, and without even being totally conscious of doing it I was turning into the parking lot.

Later, at a belated birthday dinner at my parent’s house, I received more music as gifts. Two more albums I had been pining for!

I am so excited about this musical windfall. Now, if only the baby were not sleeping so I could crank it up.

Tomorrow.

  1. I love music so much…I’m envious of your Windfall music day!enjoy!

  2. I love Tori Amos! Had my own windfall of music, yesterday! Was looking for something in my parents basement and found a box FULL of all my old sheet music and piano books. I was so excited and spent forever going through it all when I got home. My piano students are going to have a field day!
