Simon’s Art Display

A while back I finally got around to making Simon a display “wire” for his artwork. I strung some wooden clothespins onto a long strand of scrap yarn, for us to change out his creations as he makes them. There is also plenty of room to add other stuff in between.

When I first made this, I strung it in the living room because I liked it so much. In the end though, I decided he had more empty wall space, and the idea is for him to enjoy his own creations, so we moved it to his room.

Every night when I rock him before bed, he points up at the artwork strung there and goes “Oooh!“. I would say he approves.

  4. I’ve done this too… have two curtain rods with the clip hooks and art hanging in the kitchen… I never found curtains, and the art is more fun anyway 😀
