Pom Poms

I was in a store one day when I spotted a bag of pom poms for crafting. For some reason they just caught my eye, and I knew they would be perfect for a rainy day home with the Buggle, or a day when he would be cranky from teething and in need of a new distraction.

They ended up in a little plastic bin with a couple wooden sticks and a toilet paper tube. Simple enough, but he had a blast! He especially enjoyed discovering how items placed through the tube would fall out the other end. We grouped them by color, we rolled them, and we made little slides out of the sticks for them pom poms to roll down.

All in all, a terrific sensory and fine motor skill game. The bin is now kept handy (and out of his reach!) for future playtimes.
